    After the recent update it no longer recognizes my subscription through the App Store no matter how many times I got restore

    The new app update has made it impossible to restore my subscription through iTunes which I continue to be charged for while being unable to access any of the content. One of the worse transitions to a new app I have seen.

  • No more listening queue!

    The latest update (Oct 2024) lost the ability to build a listening queue, now you have to listen to all articles and have to skip the one you don’t want to hear. Can you bring back the ability to build a queue?

    Text is teeny tiny. No ability to change. Buggy. Seriously, putting this out makes me question the entire organization’s competence.

  • App will not recognize subscription

    I subscribe to The Economist through the App Store. With the latest/current version of the app, my subscription is not recognized on any device. So I cannot read any articles, despite still paying for it. The app has the usual “Restore Subscription” option, but it fails. On my iPad, I was given the chance to re-login to my account — which I thought would restore access — but it sent me into a login loop with no feedback, and no success. Others have mentioned the latest version feels like a beta release. It seems more like an Alpha release to me.

    Thank you development team for implementing article sizing so quickly. However, I gravely miss the ability to move within sections of a weekly edition. I don’t need suggestions for other issues under the same section. I desire an optimized, single edition reading experience. Please bring the old Weekly edition browsing functionality back to the app.
