Description

- (Dash) Transparent lets you add custom overlays with background images on your Home Screen. You can select from a number of overlays such as date, storage, battery, brightness and your next calendar event. Each of the overlays can be customised. You can add a custom background image, change colours and decide what URL to open when you tap on the widget.

    Switching between dark mode and light mode changes the background color so the widgets are all off

    I love this app and it does exactly what it said it would do. It is definitely worth the one dollar. the only thing that you can improve on is that it doesn’t have enough options for the widget part of it. I would like to see some with like simple clocks or clocks with calendars or any other things. I know it might be hard to do with the overlay part of it and that that’s probably why you haven’t done it but if you can do it then try. But aside from that it’s a great app.

    I love the app and how it lets me customize my Home Screen but I have been having issues with the battery widget. For the first few days it was showing the correct battery percentage but here recently it does not track the battery correctly it is always incorrect it’s a small detail but an issue that would make a difference for me. I hope there will be a fix soon in order to track the battery percentage correctly and then it will be a 5 star from me.

    I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and love the customization made possible by Dash. Definitely worth the small cost. When I use the medium, top section as a widget, the wallpaper doesn’t align quite right, even after the last update. Thanks!

    Very easy to use and love that there is no labels under the widget. I love how you can add a blur or other options to make information show up better on the widget. Would love an option for a clock overlay.

    if you’re looking for widgets that mimic transparency on your screen, i totally recommend this. there’s no label underneath the widget so it looks like there’s practically nothing there. i don’t use the overlays, so i don’t have much to say on them, other than the fact that the brightness icon looks a bit blurry on the large widget. (p.s: if the widget looks brighter/darker than your wallpaper, just go to jiggle mode, screenshot your background on a blank page & use that screenshot for the widget. iphone sometimes dims your wallpaper)
