I should have checked the reviews before I bought this. I was looking for something to edit GPS data on my photos, but that feature is basically unusable. There's no way to directly edit the coordinates or to search for an address. All you can do is scroll around on a map and click a spot. I tried to see if I could get a refund about ten minutes after buying it, when I realized it wasn't going to be any good for me, but the developer just promised that the feature was coming. Today, I got an email saying that "We have fixed all the possible issues and it should be working smoothly." In fact, as far as I can tell, no changes have been made to the GPS. In short, this might eventually be a cool app, but it's definitely not there yet, and is definitely not worth twenty dollars.

The app does not work!!! just loaded it today and when I opened it the screen is blank. I tried multiple folders and nothing happened and I tried photos and nothing happened. I am running os Monterey 12 on a mid 2015. Very disappointed being this was one of the popular programs on the interent.
  • Creates a new file vs overwriting exisitng file

Tryin out the free version - the app does not actually update the existing file, but creates a new file with the updated metadata. I dont need duplicate files. I noticed comments stating the files were not being updated. It appears that you must select (highlight) the output folder and then hit "process".
  • Doesn't load / super buggy

Trying the latest version as of today (1.6.0) on an M1 Max running latest Sonoma. I load this and am asked to "Select Multiple Folders" or "Import Photos Library." 1) Why must I select MULTIPLE folders? Why can't I just drag 1 image to this app to edit the exif data? 2) My Photos Library is 500GB. What kind of "import" are we talking about? 3) I choose "Select Multiple Folders" and the main window loads... and nothing else. Grey side bar. Buttons in the toolbar are responsive. But literally can't do anything. I'm never presented with the option to select a single folder, never mind "Multiple". Really, really strage.

No way to sort, all images are large icons, difficult to locate anything. Had to create a new folder with specific items just to isolate what I wanted to edit just to find it doesn't show metadata for .MOV
  • Doesn't export the file

The website is down, and any files you try to edit with this tool are never processed. None of the EXIF metadata changes you make will be saved. It's a shame -- I hope the developer fixes this, because it could be a great tool.

Every time I try to edit the EXIF data for any photo, I click "Start Process" and it gives me a pop-up dialog saying "Warning Update and save the new EXIF information field" with an "OK" or "Cancel" option. Neither one seems to update the files.
