  • Rude and snarky respond to feedback? Gone.

Updated: The developer responded by pointing out the app has an opt out option. That option is under the Help section. That makes no sense to me because I’m not looking for help. I’m looking for a push notification option. It’s labeled “Sales and Special Offers”, with no mention that this controls Push Notifications. The developer also responded by suggesting the setting was “labeled extremely clearly if you took the time to read” and went on to suggest these were “baseless and false accusations” and that I might need “help reading and understanding the setting section”. Given that, I rescind my one-star review for the lack of an opt-out option (as one exists). My apologies. I replace it with a one-star review for organizing and labeling an “opt out of sales related push notifications” option in way that I believe is purposefully misleading; for apparently thinking that blasting users of their app with sales push notifications without their explicit consent is a good idea; and finally for believing that their response is an example of a good customer service rather than what I considered to be rude and unprofessional. As a free service, please allow my thirty years of working in customer service in a technical realm guide you toward what I think is a more appropriate response. Please feel free to use this in the future should the need arise: “Thank you bring this to our attention. While we do have the ability to opt out of marketing and sales push notifications, that option may not be as clearly labeled as it could be for all of our customers to find it. You can find the option in ‘Settings’ under ‘Help’; it’s labeled ‘Sales & Special Offers’. You can tap on this to turn off sales and marketing push notifications. We apologize this wasn’t obvious, and we’ll look at ways of possibly improving the labeling in the future. We appreciate your feedback. We pride ourselves on maintaining a consistently high App Store rating and would love if you would consider updating your review (and rating!) to note this option is available. Thanks again.” Had something like been the response, I would have said “my bad, the option does exist” and updated my rating appropriately. —— Original: Push notification to sell me something? Gone Using push notifications to tell me to buy something is an immediate ban if your app doesn’t offer a way to disable that. And this app doesn’t. So, gone. Bye bye.

The overall app is very good. Clean design, Easy to use builder, and more! The only issue is that I wish we could make an apps live activity to launch apps from the lock screen.

Would be perfect if you could have a small icon on one side of the dynamic island only
  • Paywall is frustrating

Free features are stuck behind annoying ads and are barely functional, forcing you to spend money on yet another subscription. I understand that you need to make money, but save everyone time and charge for all the features upfront instead of offering barely usable free features.

I like the app, and decided to go for the pro version, but every time the app is updated I get messages that I need the pro version (to run some shortcuts). It gets tiresome to have to open the app and restore my purchase every time the app is updated. Why can’t it remember that I already paid?
