  • Great app for trading card collection!

To start off, I recently started to get back into collected TCG. And out of all the apps that are available for TCG this is my favorite. I especially love that is has Grading price options listed. Especially listing different grading company prices. I like that it cross references pricing with TCG player, and eBay listing. And for the most part I’d say it’s pretty accurate for pricing. My favorite part of the app, is that I collect both Yugioh, and Pokemon cards. And other TCG apps don’t do both. I’ve had a positive experience with this app as a whole. As for the negative. My biggest negative experience with this app right now, is that there is no support for Dragon Ball TCG. I see that there is basically every other TCG I know about in this app, except for Dragon Ball TCG. I think it would be a great addition to this app. As far as I could tell, it would be the first app to have it. I know TCG Player has pricing for Dragon ball TCG. But I don’t like their app. Other than that for me, I do struggle to use the scan option for TCG. It doesn’t seem to work that often for me, so I usually have to manually enter them. But it’s the same for another app I use. The only other thing, is there are inaccuracies in pricing between this app, and TCG player sometimes, and even to the extent some cards won’t have a TCG player price box at all listed for the card.

The UI is pretty good the issue is that sometimes it doesn’t recognize my card correctly which can be quite annoying at times
  • Collectr Vs Price Charting

Honestly, it’s a choice between these two apps and neither is perfect. If only I could combine the two, then there would be one perfect app. The navigation and search functions (like the ability to search by sorted sets) on Collectr are far superior, as well as its ability to track your collection’s value. The ability to track according to PSA, CGC, etc and stamped cards is what makes PriceCharting a valuable resource. But honestly I’m still waiting for a better app.

This is my favorite card collecting app to use. Only thing that it could really use is the web feature for changing and adding pictures added to the app

  • Comic collection could be better

So, to start the positive is, this one of the best comic collector apps. However, several issues that needs fixing. Been using this app for over a year, great if you just wanna keep track of what you own, but the scanning doesn’t work at all for comics. No section for signature series. Doesn’t work off-line at all. Hours and hours of adding my collection to only realize there’s no way to save or print unless you subscribe and pay a monthly fee, Was going to pay for full subscription, but realize I have to use other apps to get accurate pricing. still a lot of popular comics that don’t even register. wish it was better because I know a lot of the comic collecting community uses this app, but all have the same complaints. still hoping they fix it, or put out an app specifically for a comic books.

I could not set my own password. Only worked if I selected the apple generated password.

I’d recommend this for any collector looking to digitize their inventory, and any dreamer who seeks to collect their grails. There only thing I wish the app had the ability to do would be to specify which condition you get alerts for ie, looking for a sealed/new game and getting 10’s of alerts for loose copies or sometimes even just the box or manual. Its a small gripe but it would be a nice QoL addition
  • Very Bad for sports cards

I tried using the scanner to find many different football and basketball cards and none were found, being resulted with random Pokémon cards in Japanese. So, I tried searching and there is almost never a result.
