    The app works good when they aren’t trying to make the user the beta tester, I’ve had issues with their invoicing until they reverted back to the original invoicing, I’ve had issues with adding new employees, every time we add an employee we have to go through hoops to get the employees signed up on the up which for a busy company is not convenient at all. They have a lot of good features but a lot of beta testing in the users which I’m not ok with. New features or big changes should be brought up to the customer as we rely on the software to work all the time for us to make our money. I am semi happy with the service, although I am always looking for an alternative that doesn’t have too many ups and downs with their service. I have and will continue to recommend this app but the team needs to hear from the customers what we want and not just push their gimmicks onto us without permission

    Long time user of the platform. Been with them since they were charging barely anything, and the service was actually better then. Every function that they’re charging outrageous money for can be emulated with google sheets, quick books, Notion, Canva…take your pick, if you have the time for one time setup. If you don’t, there are definitely better programs out there. While the support staff seemed nice enough, they were still unable to complete basic tasks to keep jobs moving. They botch payment processing, which caused me to have to go back to clients and seek other payment. Switched to paying outrageous prices for ServiceTitan. At least it will work when I need it to and not cost me clients or money.

    I honestly don’t have anything to compare HCP to as I have only used them from the beginning of my journey. I went into business to focus on 2 things, customer service and company culture. I found HCP during one of my search sessions for something to help keep things organized. Truth is I wasn’t sure what that was as I never worked in home service for anyone or myself. I signed up because it sent messages to my customers when jobs were scheduled, on our way and finished job. What I got was so much more and I owe my success to this app. I ever could of keep things so organized and professional without it. I tell all my friends who have a business to check it out.

    I really like housecall! Been using it for sometime now and Onky suggestion I have would be……when looking at schedule in week view….would like to have option to right click on the job and tag techs, add a private note, add or revise line items or delete job rather than opening up the job entirely. Also If I need to add the same note to 10 jobs, it would be nice to have a feature that would apply that note to all 10 jobs at once. I suggest making it compatible with Airtable! We use housecall for our havc business. It would be great if I could use housecall for our property rental company for Maintenace jobs however We currently use Airtable! Is there anyway we can integrate housecall and Airtable?

    I’m sure it’s great for low volume / larger deals that have many moving parts. If you are doing volume it’s not great. 100% obvious it was created by software guys with feedback from other software guys. 0% chance any real sales reps or operators of high volume shops were involved or had input.

    Subscription doubles after 6 technicians for no reason, pricy plus payments became an issue due to restriction on the account after few larger amounts and 3 years of using this app. Disappointed since had a lot integrated and aligned

    The company withheld a transaction which affected our schedule majorly because they wanted to audit the charge, asking us for information which was all readily available in the purchasing client’s profile (which they obviously have access to and could have done without involving me at all.)

    Worst customer support I’ve ever dealt with. Cancelled my account and been calling all week with customer support with no call back to resolve issue. Put my whole business on hold for a week and counting.

    House Call Pro is absolute garbage. It was great when we first started using it. With the recent updates you can’t add invoice messages nor edit the line items for what the customer can view on an iPhone. Our android users have no problem but the vast majority of our users have iPhones/iPads. So good luck if you have an iPhone. I have been around in circles for two months with tech support trying to get this fixed. Finally they have just disabled my chat box so I can’t bother them anymore on this on going issue. Do yourself a favor and try Jobber or something else, like anything else but house call pro. Garbage app and even worse tech support!
